Emmanuel Vitus Nnaka — widely known as “Gentle” — is the Founder and Group Chief Executive of Gentle Global Group, a diversified enterprise spanning Real Estate, Oil & Gas, Fashion Trading, Hospitality and Social Impact.

Emmanuel Vitus Nnaka (“Gentle”) is a Nigerian entrepreneur, investor and philanthropist with more than two decades of operating experience across trading, energy logistics, hospitality and property development. He leads Gentle Global Group with a governance-first, people-centred and performance-driven philosophy. Through an apprenticeship-to-ownership culture, he has supported the growth of many independent entrepreneurs. His philanthropic vehicle, Gentle Homes Foundation, focuses on education, health outreach and livelihood programmes.

  1. Early Life

    Raised in Okija, Anambra State, Emmanuel developed an entrepreneurial work ethic early, learning trading dynamics and community values that anchor his leadership approach.

  2. Career Beginnings

    He entered large-scale fashion trading in the early 2000s, building supplier networks across Asia and the Middle East and establishing a wholesale base on the Mandilas axis of Lagos Island.

  3. Expansion

    Over time he diversified into real estate development and facility management, downstream oil & gas logistics and hospitality, applying consistent standards of governance, safety and service.

  4. Current Work

    As Group Chief Executive, he oversees portfolio strategy, capital allocation, risk management and the mentorship of operating leaders while guiding the Foundation’s community initiatives.
